Inspiration

Grand Oak Custom Woodworking works with customers to bring ideas to fruition whether the idea comes from a piece of furniture from 1670’s or from the latest modern homes.

Strategy

We work to design each custom order from the ground up and use both old world tools and techniques as well as modern equipment and methods to ensure an exceptional bespoke piece is created for each customer.

Focus

Being a small company allows us to keep the customer’s dream as our focus tailoring each step of the process to meet their expectations.

One of the things that makes Grand Oak Custom Woodworking unique is that while we have the ability to use stains to effect the final look of a project we strive to allow the grain, texture, and color of the wood to speak. We enjoy using these attributes to allow the wood to speak and the interplay of wood species and their unique colors and grain to enliven the project. Therefore most of the projects we complete have a high quality clear finish.

This 48″ round cherry table is available now. It has three feet and a single octagonal center column. The top is quarter sawn cherry arranged in a radial pattern with a center pin wheel set in an unique burl. There are additional pictures on the Gallery page. Contact if interested. List price $900.
